The goal of the 2025 Oregon Suicide Prevention Conference (OSPC) is to foster an inclusive, multidisciplinary dialogue that advances understanding, prevention, intervention, and postvention strategies for suicide and suicidal behaviors. The conference theme for 2025 is Communities of Hope: Fostering Connection.
This conference welcomes peers, professionals, non-professionals, and individuals with lived experience. Attendees will have meaningful opportunities to connect, exchange insights, and enhance their suicide prevention efforts. Together, we can build stronger, more supportive communities that foster mental wellness and work collectively to prevent suicide.
Attendees gain practical skills, and access actionable plans to foster collaboration, celebrate diversity, uplift voices of lived experience, and implement evidence-based practices and prevention strategies. Together, we can strengthen connections that better support communities and help individuals find meaning and purpose in their lives.
We prioritize workforce wellness and professional growth, offering opportunities to participate in affinity groups and self-care wellness activities. Reconnect with old friends, forge new relationships, and engage with exhibitors to explore innovative programs, trainings, and resources for suicide prevention and mental wellness promotion.
